FAQ:
Do you provide the original RAW photos or unedited video files?
In most cases, no.
RAW photos and unedited video footage are considered the photographer’s or filmmaker’s digital negatives. They are unfinished files intended for professional editing and color grading, and they do not represent the final quality of my work.
This is the standard practice throughout the photography and filmmaking industry. My portfolio reflects the finished, edited result, and that’s what I deliver to my clients.
If you have a specific commercial project that requires RAW files, feel free to ask. I’m happy to discuss custom licensing.
You might notice that I take far more photos during a session than I eventually deliver. That’s because I’m often capturing the same moment several times, waiting for the perfect expression, gesture, light, or for the background to come together just right. In the end, I carefully select the strongest images, so you can be confident that you won’t miss any of the truly great moments.
When will I receive my photos or video?
Delivery time depends on the type of project.
Portrait sessions are usually delivered within 3 to 7 days.
Commercial projects are typically delivered within 1 to 2 weeks.
Wedding films and larger productions usually take 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the season and project complexity.
If you need a faster turnaround, let me know in advance. Express delivery may be available.
How many photos will I receive?
I don’t promise a specific number of images because every session is different.
You’ll receive all the best photographs that meet my quality standards, carefully selected and professionally edited.
Quality always comes before quantity.
Will the photos be edited?
Yes.
Every delivered image is individually edited for colour, exposure, contrast and composition. I also perform natural skin retouching when appropriate while keeping people looking like themselves.
Can I choose the photos?
For portrait and couple sessions, you’re welcome to choose your favourites from a private online gallery if that’s included in your package.
For weddings and events, I carefully select the strongest images to tell the complete story.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If the weather makes the session impossible or unsafe, we’ll simply reschedule at no extra cost.
Sometimes cloudy weather actually creates the most beautiful light for photography.
Do you travel?
Yes.
I’m based in Gozo, Malta, but I’m available throughout Malta and for destination projects abroad.
Travel costs may apply depending on the location.
Can you help us choose a location?
Absolutely.
If you’re visiting Malta or Gozo, I’ll recommend locations based on the type of photos you want, the time of day and the season.
What should we wear?
Neutral colours and simple clothing usually photograph best.
After booking, I’ll be happy to suggest outfits that work well for your chosen location and style.
How do we book?
Simply get in touch through the contact form, WhatsApp or email.
Once we confirm the date and details, your booking is secured after the agreed booking fee is received.
Do you use drones?
Yes, where regulations and weather conditions allow.
All drone flights are carried out legally and safely, and some locations may have flight restrictions.
Can you make us look natural? We’re not comfortable in front of the camera.
Definitely.
Most of my clients say exactly the same thing before the session. You don’t need any experience in front of the camera. I’ll guide you naturally throughout the session so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
Will we have fun or is it going to be stiff?
That depends on all of us, and that’s actually the best part.
I’ll take care of the ideas, the guidance and making you feel comfortable. You don’t need to know how to pose or worry about looking perfect. Your only job is to show up ready to enjoy the experience.
The best photos happen when you’re relaxed, laughing and focused on each other, not on the camera. If you can, avoid coming straight from a stressful meeting, an argument or a hectic day. Give yourself a little time to switch into “holiday mode” before we meet.
Think of it as spending time together in a beautiful place, while I happen to have a camera with me. The more you enjoy the moment, the more authentic your photos and films will be.
